The stud model with a decorative front part is best suited for cartilage piercings and upper holes in the earlobe. The jewelry can also be used for tragus piercings, but the jewelry is relatively showy and may not fit nicely if the piercing is made on the edge of the navel. In this model, the jewelry part is fixed and only the ball unscrews.
